The night itself finally has an app. Board game nights run on rituals that software never touched. First the shelf stare: a hundred boxes, four players, ninety minutes, and twenty of them lost deciding. Then the scoring - modern games count bonuses, per-item points, majorities, whole formulas - handled with a pen and a pad that ran out of sheets three games ago. And somewhere, a copy of Azul has been at a friend's place since March, remembered by no one. Tabletally is built for that night, not the archive after it. It lives on the phone, keeps a group's shelf, and runs the evening from the first "what should we play?" to the final tally. THE SHELF-TO-TABLE PICKER A host enters who's here and how long they have, and the picker returns a short list from their own collection - honest about time, because it learned the table's real pace from past plays instead of trusting the box.
