Earth Clock Calendar

À propos de l'app

General Description: The Earth Clock Calendar app is so much more than just a clock & calendar. Earth, Moon & Sun; their movements, rotation & orbital period are what give us the solar day, lunar month & seasonal year, the basic units of time & date. Earth Clock shows planetary time & date. Every time you look to see What time is it?, you are reminded of the fact that we are all of us living on a planet, the living Earth, which carries you & feeds you, like a mother. Unique Features: Earth Clock has no competition. It is unique, beautiful, educational & transformative. Earth Clock features planet Earth at the center of a specially modified, time- & date-telling celestial ring. Earth Clock automatically places a time zone-spanning hour hand at your location on the globe, taking into account your longitude & latitude. The Earth (with hour hand attached) spins once per day relative to the Sun. Think of the Moon going through its phases as just another hand on the calendar-clock. The Moon orbits the Earth about once every 29 & 1/2 days. Think of the signs of the zodiac as the months of a seasonal year. (The Sun, fixed at noon at the top of the dial, appears to move through all 12 s
